Co-managed teams #349

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
A few people in my league have chosen to co-manage teams with another
player. Right now, the way we've been dealing with this has been to create
a new user - "Mike and John" - and giving both of them access to that
account. Is there any possibility that the software might support a team
being owned by multiple coaches in the future?

Crap. This should be "enhancement", not defect, and I can't figure out how to
change
it. Sorry.

I would suggest making both coaches league managers, can't see how else to do
it.
Making a common coach seems like a poor solution.
There is no native support for this.

I agree that a common coach is a poor solution - that's why I brought it here
:-)
However, I like it a lot better than making both coaches league managers.

My goal was just to put the idea of multiple owners per team in people's heads,
so
that if someone sees an easy way to add the feature it might get done. Thank
you very
much!

OK, that's your choice :-).

Unfortunately the structure of the DB data relations does not allow this without
_radical_ changes.

Closing this issue.
