Cyanide: Teams with Apostrophes in name Not Recognized when Downloaded #467

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a team with an apostrophe in it's name
2. Download the team via roster > Cyanide-DB
3. Save it in the Bloodbowl\Saves\Teams\ folder

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The team should appear as an available team for playing a game and editing.
Instead the team is not present

What version of the product are you using?

The current version of OBBLM on www.stuntyleeg.com

Please provide any additional information below.

Renaming the team to remove the apostrophe fixes the problem. Before there was
an error with players with special characters in their names being unable to be
downloaded. It seems this error may be similar. I have only tested apostrophes
but other special characters may cause the same issue.

I thought I fixed this. I will have to check if I ever moved this over to the
site. But maybe I only did it for player names. Obviously just change the
team name until I can fix this:)

Ok, I'll let you deal with this. Also, am I the only one not able to create a
cyanide roster .db for download with the current revision? I get the error:

Fatal error: Exception thrown without a stack frame in Unknown on line 0

Maybe you don't have PDO installed? I can of course add a check for PDO so
that it would give a more meaningful error if that is the case...
