Latest Hired event box not updating anymore

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Hire player in team page
2. Click "Home" link in top navi.
3. See Latest Hired event box.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Hired played shown on the home page in the "Latest Hired" box. I see players 
from a couple of weeks back being as the latest, although there are players 
hired after them.

What version of the product are you using?

0.96

I've been using OBBLM for a couple of months now. Did the install myself on a 
web hotel server. I have customised the front page (home) to our needs and 
everything was fine, until about a couple of weeks ago the Latest Hired box 
stopped updating. The latest player it has is hired on 7.11. and there are a 
few players hired after it. They don't show up on the box, no matter what I try 
to do. 

Latest Dead and Skill Picks are working okay.

Using PhpMyAdmin I can see the players in the "players" table along with the 
others. No problem seems to be there, although without documentation I cannot 
be sure what all the fields are supposed to be.

This is odd. It's a pretty simple MySQL selection...
I will look at it soon enough. Please let me know if you find the bug though 
:-).

From your link above it seems that the box now works? At least I can see very 
recent hiring activity?

I see recent activity in "last hired" box too for the current year (2015).
I close the issue. If original reporter still have a problem (since 2013 I 
doubt it :p) he can re-open.
