1 year ago Thank you for sharing. As two Southerners, speaking for myself, I always thought y'all was a word to shun, but then re-embraced it over the last decade. That said, we will take this under consideration and might add a note or something.

I recently heard that using "y'all" is a form of culturally appropriated language. I grew up in the US south and haven't considered this before, but it could be worth visiting. The other one that might cross this barrier is "peeps."
