2 years ago Just a note that the term "preset" is still important in referring to the predefined, out-of-the-box categories and phrases. I guess it refers more to a state of the app in that a newly installed app uses presets and the app can be returned to presets by clicking "Reset" in Settings.
Recently on iOS we removed the concept of "Preset" categories and made all categories custom categories. This means the preset categories that come with the app can be deleted and edited.
There are some exceptions to this rule, e.g. Recents; you can not add/delete phrases for the Recents category.
This ticket is to capture what we want to do with Recents. The original intent was to house the most recently used phrases, but now that the category can be deleted do we still want the Recents functionality?
Also if the category is renamed, the phrases are still saved to the category.
If we do still want to keep it, would it make sense to add phrases to the Recents category when spoken from the keyboard. i.e. type a phrase, tap on the speak button -> add spoken phrase to recents.
