Tabwidth can't be set / results in visible error #180

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set tabWidth to > 100
2. open multiple Tabs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It's expected that the tabs have a width of the set value, and that they're
not cut off at the end. Also, the close Button should display correctly
