Different contacts determined by phone number

The uniqueness of contacts is determined via phone numbers. However, this can be problematic as there can be individuals with the same phone number contact (especially if the phone number we know is a landline phone number).

The expected behaviour is that the uniqueness of contacts is determined via their email addresses instead.

Thank you for the bug report.

However, our team has decided to reject the bug as the phone number for each contact should be a mobile phone number. Our application would not allow for landline numbers (any phone numbers starting with 6).

It is also stated as part of PHONE_NUMBER constraints:

We have decided to use mobile phone numbers for duplicate person, where strict identification is required in order to register for a mobile phone number in the context of Singapore.
