Is it possible to modify this to work with four roboclaw drivers ? #3

Yes, it’s quite possible, though I won’t have time to address this soon. Basically you just need to add a parameter to the YAML file specifying the device address to be used and then the method that parses the YAML file needs to get that value and pass it to the ‘open’ method.
