Hi Mr @win32ss , huge thanks for the amazing vital Supermium ! 💯 🥇

so i test the new version and i am surprised, maybe the new version of Supermium has disabled this feature ou cause problem with this vital game changer feature :

i go to :

chrome://flags/ and i disable this flags : Heavy ad privacy mitigations

and i restart the browser, and i test native heavy ads blocker that shoulld unloads heavy ads crypto mining after 30 seconds, but afer 50 seconds, Supermium dosn't unload this very bad heavy ads !

https://heavy-ads.glitch.me/

https://blog.chromium.org/2020/05/resource-heavy-ads-in-chrome.html

https://developer.chrome.com/blog/heavy-ad-interventions?hl=en#testing_the_intervention

of course i have disabled ublock origin, we hope this probelm will be fixed please and chromium native internal heavy ads blocker will work again, thanks !

catsxp and brave has also disabled native heavy ads blocker, je don't know why, and also in cromite browser , the heavy ads blocker doesn't work, actually only Thorium legacy of Mr @Alex313031 blocks heavy ads witth the chromium internal native heavy ads blocker !

browsers disble heavy ads blocker because they don't like use google services ? becase maybe heavy ads blocker use google services ?

let's notice i have disable v8 engine webassembly, a developer recommand to disable webassembly to protect our machines from crypto mining hijacking :

chrome://settings/content/v8

so in theory i am protected from crypto mining, but native chromium heavy ads blocker blocks nasty ads and add more security protections because i don't like to add many filter lists in my ublock origin , i mean i use french sites but i don't enable french specefic block lists because i have weak eee pc and my eee pc shut down if the cpu is used so much ...

before the crash of my windows 10 laptop, chromium browser Hibbiki version from woolyss site have heavy ads blocker that works without problems :

https://github.com/Hibbiki/chromium-win64

https://chromium.woolyss.com/

however, the native heavy ads blocker doesn't work in ungoogled chromium , this is sad, what makes chromium browsers strong is this internal blocker of heavy ads crypto mining, so please it is very important life saver to be able to use this heavy ads blocker especially since I do not use an antivirus ...

Thanks !

I looked at this feature a long time ago, and it shouldn't rely on Google services as it works by checking CPU and network usage. Since several other forks have this feature broken, maybe upstream broke it. I'll see what may have caused this breakage.

Ohhh magnificent !! Thanks so much Mr @win32ss ! 💯

Helping each other between amazing exceptional developers is important that's why please we hope the great and famous browsers developers Mr @Alex313031 and Mr @Blaukovitch will help the great Mr Shane in this very complex mission ! 💯

I admit I was skeptical about this heavy ads blocker: the fan on my computer that crashed was very annoying and I disabled many windows services features and I was afraid this heavy ads blocker would add too extra load to the web browser while ublock origin is supposed to block all ads, but I also learned that using a lot of blocklists makes browsing heavier so I disable adguard's blocklst for french and arabic sites even though I often use french and arabic sites and I think native heavy ads blocker can be useful to me in french and arabic streaming sites to watch anime, live sports......because my favorite streaming sports site dens't let me click on any links if I don't disable ublock origin, yet I disabled all the privacy anti trackers cookies blocklists to lighten ublock origin and try to bypass anti-adblock on my favorite streaming sports site but ublock origin is detected by my favourite sport streaming site and I have to disable it hence the importance of an additional native internal adsblocker....

in addition I have activated all the anti malware virus security blocklists of ublock origin because I have disabled my windows anti virus which is no longer updated anyway and my eee pc stops working if there is a heavy cpu load and so I can no longer add the French and Arabic blocklists in ublock origin to avoid cpu heating....

I even remember the famous microsoft edge browser did not block heavy ads and its internal heavy ads blocker did not work, maybe because I did not clear the cache, history.....i don't know, but before my main laptop windows 10 os crashed , I tried and microsoft edge browser managed and succeded to reactivate or make the internal native heavy as blocked work again ....

my only fear is that this problem seems to be very complex difficult to fix because I informed cromite, ungoogled chromium, catsxp ... developers of this problem and apparently, until now, the problem is not fixed even if currently, I could not test because I have windows 7 os, I have to check my issues, for catsxp, I asked this politely on the catsxp forum which cowardly banned me from the forum which suggests catxsp non open source chinese browser which must obey the dictatorial criminel fascist chinese government which likes to spy on people, catsxp seems to want to spread some ads because I saw several advertising agency flags in the catsxp flags ....

i have a suggestion for , temporarily overcome this problem and it is useful for average users not experts: when I saw cromite, microsoft edge browser, ungooled chromium , ecosia browser, brave ..... do not activate the internal heavy ads blocker or it does not work, I launched into intense efforts to find blocklists anti crypto mining hijacking miners because the main role of internal heavy ads blocker for me is to block the crypto mining currency, so my idea Mr Shane is to imitate Mr Alex who installs by default in Thorium browser the ublock origin developer edition extension for a better updated efficiency and we hope the add by default of these rare blocklists anti crypto mining miners to ublock origin of Supermium out of the box :

https://gitlab.com/ZeroDot1/CoinBlockerLists/ https://zerodot1.gitlab.io/CoinBlockerListsWeb/downloads.html

https://github.com/bogachenko/fuckfuckadblock

https://github.com/hoshsadiq/adblock-nocoin-list/

also quad9 dns told me they block crypt mining that does not ask for user consent, and especially dns0 zeo made by the developer of nextdns which innotatively blocks crypt mining and I think Supermium and Thorium should activate dns out of the box by default:

https://www.dns0.eu/zero

" dns0 zero prevent the unauthorized use of one's devices to mine cryptocurrency and block domains registered less than 30 days ago.... "

i found other rare crypto mining blocklists for ublock origin, I activated them then I was afraid of heating my old cpu too much on my eee pc, maybe activate them on modern windows 11 machines:

I think Supermium and Thorium should activate dns out of the box by default

DNS services are blocked in some countries. That is, you can get a non-working browser out of the box.

because i have weak eee pc and my eee pc shut down if the cpu is used so much ...

I think we need to repair the cooler, and at the same time replace the thermal paste on the processor for better cooling. Otherwise your eee pc will not last long :)

trimechee commented 3 days ago

Thanks for your advises :) 💯

i like my eee pc because it has no fan and it is silent, yes i feel heat when i touch the place under the eee pc which is normal, now why does my eee pc stop working? I think when I open several tabs of twitter and twitter automatically plays videos and maybe the video codec format of twitter is particular... I can open many tabs without problems but now I avoid opening several tabs containing videos....

for the moment there are no more frequent shutdowns of the eee pc, it has almost disappeared alhamdoulilAllah, now what worries me is sometimes the screen goes all black and freezes and I have lost unsaved documents, eee pc plays an advertising sprt from asus when the eee pc remains inactive for a certain time, I suspect the bug comes from that, or maybe there are other reasons, I think I should increase the standby time of my screen, and always save my work with a short time lapse

now why does my eee pc stop working?

Because your computer seems to have a bad cooling, which leads the processor to urgently stop everything to preserve itself and the machine as well to avoid physical damage. If your machine shuts down abruptly due to overheating, you shall consider performing some maintenance on your machine to clean it and replace thermal paste that seems to be failing on your device (because the one that is applied in the cooling system is old/dry and no longer does his job properly).

You say it has no fans, which is a sign that your laptop is more prone to overheat if the effectiveness of the cooling system became insufficient to ensure it's usage at full load.

A computer SHOULD NOT do overheat emergency shutdowns. The cooling system of a computer (whatever if it's a low-end or an high-end one) should be able to handle the heat of all component as full load without going into overheating.

--

Consider performing a cleanup on your device, as it's important to perform maintenance on it regularly to keep it functional for the longest. Let your computer overheating like that can lead to a quick (and sometimes irreversible) failure.

--

Or if the device is not overheating but still perform random shutdowns, then either Windows is doing black magic on your device, or you are facing a component that is about to fail.
