Hello.

I'm a regular subscriber of the site www.nowtv.it but I can't see their content because they force us to use Windows,but I regularly uses Linux and FreeBSD. So,I found your browser and I tried to run it with wine (wine-8.0.1 (Ubuntu 8.0.1~repack-3ubuntu2 on top of Ubuntu 23.10). Unfortunately it does not work. These are the error that I get when I try to watch some DRM protected content. Does your browser support widevine ?

Is there something that you can fix ? thanks.

It does support Widevine, but it does not have a VMP signature, which means it is also incompatible with most streaming services in western countries (but apparently poorer countries' versions of say, Netflix, don't require VMP).

I'm a regular subscriber of the service NowTV. I would like to see their content using Linux,but they don't allow this. They are forcing us to use Windows. That's not good. I tried to use your browser,but it didn't help. What's the VMP signature ? Why you can't add it in your browser ?

Only proprietary browsers and media players (or at least the official packages distributed through official channels for open-source projects) are approved to get VMP signatures. You may also want to try Waterfox/LibreWolf/Firefox. There don't seem to be hard VMP requirements in Gecko browsers at this time by the major streaming services, although I think some of the bigger ones may also have them in their official (Windows) packages.

The Supermium module progwrp may also be upgraded to mitigate this issue in the future.

Nothing to do : With Waterfox and LibreWolf NowTV reports this error : VSF:OVP_00013 ; I can't watch anything.
