[Supermium v122.0.6261.152 on Windows XP] Microphone not working in browser #576

So, I just tested Discord out in Supermium on my Windows XP build and I could not get it to work with a microphone. I even tried other sites like mictests.com and even that's having trouble detecting my mic. And whenever I try to use it, the audio starts having some weird issues at certain points. For instance, I can't play my YouTube videos when that happens. Though, in some instances, after a while, it goes back to normal.

But otherwise, my audio works just fine outside of Supermium, and even Discord and YouTube works as normally in the browser so long as I don't use my microphone within it. I use a Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card with X-Fi driver version 5.12.8.1201 from June of 2007. I even tried my Blue Yeti USB microphone, which does work under XP, to no effect.

I successfully used a USB microphone on XP with Supermium awhile back, even fixing a sampling issue that also affected some of the Chinese forks. I will test again and see what happens.

I confirm that there is a problem with WaveIn input audio (which affects XP as WASAPI is unavailable there). I will see what is the problem there.
