I had to check the code to make sure that the fix I previously made was applied to 124. It was, so it appears that something else is causing a problem now. Please send any crash dumps if they were created.

I have used 122 ever since you fixed it as my main browser and had absolutely 0 issues with it.

it has got to the point of unusability, it is not the same bug as before, it is a lot worse. I'm having graphical glitches now. image

Try this: https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases/tag/win81-test-r1

yep, it is working correctly now. I put it through stress test and the browser works just fine now. I'm using supermium as my main browser now (it has been month) since your last fix there was absolutely no problem even with 80 tabs opened at the same time. Is this new issue or just continuation of the last one?

win32ss commented 6 days ago

Technically a new issue as these problems didn't occur with the previous release.

It seems really similar

Catsxp does seem like a fairly polished browser, which gives the impression of having more resources to develop NT6 patches. I haven't seen anything that indicates copying of Supermium patches there.

Although I'm surprised that no one outside of China or CIS ever tried backporting Chromium after 110 to NT6 or NT5, unless these browsers were commissioned for enterprises and not for public release (there are still numerous businesses on NT6 where I am).

@win32ss I have no idea if it is really the driver that is causing it or not, but I can successfully replicate it on gtx 1080 Ti, gtx 1050Ti. Gtx 960 seems to be fine. GTX 1000 series even has official driver support. the bug is the same on computer with intel platform or amd platform (with nvidia Gpu) I have no amd card to test and since they broke the compatibility a long time ago so it makes no sense to even try I guess.
