I've already put in a fair bit of work in order to make deployment work reproducibly despite the vagaries of npm, so replacing all that with yarn would likely be a non-trivial amount of work. Nevertheless, may be desirable. Adding the "discussion" tag to reflect the undecided nature of the problem.
