Description

[ ] Add a figure for particle size distribution in spectral maps.
[ ] Add a figure for the polymer distribution in any batch spectra.
[ ] Create a generic base R map that will work for very large maps, plotly lags considerably when the maps have more than 1000 or so spectra. Could have the default option be plotly and then when maps get above 1-10k have it switch to a base r image.

@zsteinmetz, you interested working with me on any of these?

Problem

Microplastic researchers really want to do easy spectra map analysis in the portal but it is very slow and poorly featured for their specific use cases.
