No power curve data for small wind turbines? #116

First of all, thank you very much for developing this python library that will promote the development of wind energy. Now small wind turbines are also developing rapidly. Why is there no **power curve data for small wind turbines**?

birgits commented 3 years ago

Hi @PhilosopherZ, I think the main reason for that is that our focus lies on larger energy systems and Germany, where the relevance of small wind turbines is not very high. But we welcome anyone who wants to contribute to the windpowerlib and the turbine data. We put some information on how to do that in the documentation. To contribute to the turbine data library see here: https://github.com/OpenEnergyPlatform/data-preprocessing/issues/28

In the short term you can add your own power curve if you got one from another place.
