UGS platform will not open #1

I cannot open UGS platform. When I try it in the command I get the following error.

" Error occurred during initialization of VM" " Initial heap size set to a larger value than the maximum heap size." Could I get an answer in novice language please, I know very little about this.

How much ram does your computer have? The initial heap size (a.k.a. RAM) is 64m which isn't much these days.

I increased the heap size to 512 and that seems to have helped. However, it now says the software can't run on my PC. I downloaded the 2.0 platform. I have a 32- bit operating system x86 based processor with windows 10 Is there a different version I should have down loaded
