new ActiveXObject('Word.Application') -> Open fails

What's the URL of the page that contains a bug?

Does it work before? If not, when did you find this problem?
No, while testing site in chrome
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.new ActiveXObject('Word.Application') 
2.try to call Open on a local word document

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
word document should be accessed written and saved back.
But instead getting error while calling .open=> open called over an undefined 
object.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? On
which version of your browser?
latest

What's your settings?
none2block and dynamic is added as helpers. Checked allow access to local files 
option as well

Please provide any additional information below.
new ActiveXObject('System.FileSystemObject') works fine and creates local 
folder structure successfully

Please advise if along with this extension need to use any other extension to 
make MS word work.
