What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.download latest version of test application (nr.5)
2.go to "bin" folder for compiled program
3.start the exe

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
all the controls are frozen and earth does not appear

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I guess the latest, on XP home Sp3 32 bit

Please provide any additional information below.
I tried also to compile with C# express 2010 with target FW .NET 4 but nothing
changes. I also tested the base example code, the application starts but
everything is frozen.

All the controls are disabled by default until the SetBrowserInstance() methods
is called on them. If this is not happening it is likely because the plugin is
not loading.

1) do you have the plugin installed?
2) do you have a hardware/software firewall running?
3) can you see the google earth plugin on this page in internet explorer on
your machine? http://code.google.com/apis/earth/

Don't worry, I am sure we can get you up and running.

Yes, I'm sure the plug is installed because I can see the earth in many sites.
I tried also to switch off th eWindows firewall but nothing change.
I have an internet connection through a router but I don't think this is an
issue.
