This is a bit more interesting, actually. ThePooN has a patch for wine to reduce audio latency.
I've personally always run osu with alsa, so I've never been tempted to run that patch. But if we want to package this game, we should probably look at that.
Audio latency is probably an issue for other games too, perhaps we should supply a runtime with that patch applied? Alternatively, we could motion to get it upstreamed in some fashion.
huh is the patch really needed? Works fine on my machine.
@WebFreak001 The game runs fine, but on some very difficult maps the latency becomes noticeable.
Admittedly, that's only relevant to a small percentage of players, but knowing the community we'd probably look inferior and miss out on a lot of users...
I think there needs to be a .NET template in the runtimes repo for this though.
