Hello Bill, Just reporting back I was not able to get quickbooks to run over the share. I first ran into some permission errors and fixed them but I think the main issue is quickbooks creates its own quickbook user and it started becoming a rabbit hole of time trying to open permissions for its built in user so time vs money spent became an issue and i had to go with remote desktop server for this one purpose. Also quickbooks it self is just so flaky of a program i just had to put it up on the RDC.

Some of these complicated scenarios are probably not good candidates for SSHFS-Win, because it has a relatively simple permission model. It could probably be made to work, but might require significant time investment.
If you ever try again you can also try the option -o umask=000
which makes files available to everyone.
Hello, I didnt see this anywhere and am trying to test it out. But do you know if quickbooks files can be opened and run over this mount?
