It may be no need for some functionality (for example, Firewall or Disk tabs), therefore, it would be logical to be able to hide them from list of tabs.
For example, I ran into the problem that shortly after switching to Firewall tab on my system that handle usually ~5-10k rapidly starting/closing TCP/UDP connections, so System Informer soon becomes unresponding due flood of handled entries.
