GPU Fahrenheit setting and display issue #2107

Closed 1xdevnet closed 4 days ago

1xdevnet commented 1 week ago

Brief description of your issue

1) Attempting to enable the ExtendedTools option "Enable GPU fahrenheit temperature" does not respect the setting after selecting the option. After re-opening settings, the setting is unchecked again and under Advanced the option "ProcessHacker.ExtendedTools.EnableFahrenheit" still has a value of 0. 2) Manually setting the option in Advanced settings still does not show the option as being enabled in the ExtendedTools options. When set to 1 and viewing the System Information window, while the tooltip does display Fahrenheit, the leading display text still shows Celsius. 3) GPU-specific displays enabled under the "Graphics Display" options section still show Celsius for both the display text and the tooltip. system-informer-c-vs-f-00 system-informer-c-vs-f-01 system-informer-c-vs-f-02 system-informer-c-vs-f-03

Steps to reproduce (optional)

1) Set the Advanced option "ProcessHacker.ExtendedTools.EnableFahrenheit" to 1, then open the System Information window to confirm the mixed temperature units between text and tooltip. 2) Select the ExtendedTools options setting to confirm that the option is still unchecked. 3) Select a GPU in the "Graphics Devices" options section, then open the System Information window to confirm that additional GPUs are always displayed in Celsius.

Expected behavior (optional)

The setting should be reflected in the options window. The setting should affect all of: 1) the leading text display for GPU temperature, 2) the specific GPU display's text temperature, 3) the tooltip temperatures for both the overall GPU and specific GPUs.

Actual behavior (optional)

Only the tooltip of the overall GPU temperature is displayed in F, all other temperatures are in C.

Environment (optional)

v3.0.7660 (08de40d) release, portable version
Windows 10 22H2 19045.4529
