This refers to the charity landing page. Can't include a screenshot, but just look at any charity landing page.
Users seem to not realise that the + and - buttons are part of the interactivity of the site, instead just being an element of the design of the page.
Possible solutions:
the quarter circle seems to be the main source of confusion, could replace it with something plainer
the field that contains the donation amount currently blends in fairly smoothly with the background; making it stand out more may make it clearer that this is an editable field (sorry I'm not very precise here)
users largely seem to think that the next step in the user journey having arrived on the charity profile page is to click on the big green donate button. They don't seem to spot that choosing the donation amount is a prior step in the process. Could make this more explicit, e.g. "Step 1: choose your impact amount / donation amount" / "Step 2: donate"
It may be possible to get some of Isabel's input on this (TBC)
