Move images between albums before upload #10

Gallery Remote 1.5b32 (although about says b31), standalone on Ubuntu Feisty.

There doesn't seem to be a way to move images between albums before uploading.

This gets particularly annoying when I have a bunch of pictures taken over a period of time, and I add them all for upload to see the thumbnails so I can sort them, but then I can't!

It feels like doing the same thing twice when you have to first use one application that shows thumbnails to sort the images, and then GR (that also shows thumbs) to upload to Gallery...

Thanks, this is a known issue: drag and drop between albums is broken in GR. In the meantime, you can use the following work-around: cut and paste.

OK. cut and paste seems to work fine (hadn't even thought of that, I usually avoid pointy-clicky stuff), so I'll stick to that workaround for now.
