fix ElevatorSelectionTest for current implementation

• this will fix the tests to work with the current implementation
• this test still fails when running all the tests at once so it is required to run this test class by itself

The fact that ElevatorSelectionTest must be run on its own should be noted in the "Testing" section in the README.
