Sorry to bundle these distinct changes into a single pull request. I'm still a git noob.

Argh. I don't think 5e80ec1 actually fixes the issue. The only thing that seems to work reliably is to give an absolute path to the .dmg. (The init command looks to work pretty well, though.)

I think the problem with the path to the .dmg is the use of cd $SOURCE/versions. This changes with working directory against which relative paths are resolved.

PR has been manually merged due to some earlier changes. I think it was pretty straight forward but might want to do give it the once-over to make sure.
