I love using markdown, but it just never looks right in the terminal I think something like this could really fix that.

As I understand it, this project was less about the UI but about the protocol itself.

For UI I would suggest getting in touch with multiple enthusiastic UI designers to get some feedback on how to design with the constrain of just one font and especially a fixed-size one. All designers I approached so far laughed at me and told me I am crazy wanting to achieve basically anything with such font restriction. Yet, that is what defines a "terminal" visual-wise...
