K6 Hookah: Claire: I enjoyed looking at your prototypes. This map would be a great way to introduce newcomers in an area to figure out what place is popular and what isn't. It can also let me know what places to avoid. The second paper prototype was the best. April: I liked Hyungyun Kim's and Lauren Gong's prototypes the most. I felt that they clearly expressed how the app would be used and what the app was for. I was confused by how this app differs from using Yelp or Google maps and what the "visits" to each place mean. Are they cumulative visits over a certain period of time? Are they usual visits at this time? Max: I like the idea to display every activity on the map and users can choose the filter to select. However, how can this be differentiated from other map application like Google Maps or Yelp? I would like to see more unique functionalities that make your application stand out. Devon: I liked the idea of seeing popular destinations and crowded areas. It seems as though there is some confusion among the group for how this information is going to be used, whether it be the actual crowds of a region, an attraction, and if this is at the moment or in general. Depending upon the answer to this, it is important to keep in mind the size of the locations and whether the overall region information would be useful. Think more about what is the issue that you are trying to solve? How does this make the user's life more efficient/enjoyable? I like the idea of being able to filter for certain categories of attractions, rather than displaying everything around me.

Andrew Fancett I do like how you guys are going to separate it by color making it easier to distinguish. I'm not sure which is the better option, using texture, or using color. I would think color works best though. I'm a little confused on your actual goal. At first, it seems like you want to analyze foot traffic for a general area that the users clicks in. Then it transitions to places that are most visited. Now the foot traffic will go to the places most visited but I think these are two separate ideas. Rather than having the focus be the foot traffic show the popular places as more salient on the map then use foot traffic mapping as an additional feature to your app.

Drew Bartleman (#1) I like the overall layout of the app and where things are visually on the screen. I wish you could add color to the prototype, since that seems like an integral part of the app. I was confused by how pins on the map can show foot traffic, it seems like routes colored deeper shades would be better as there often isn't traffic jams located in small areas.

(#2) I like this one too. I'm a bit confused as to why some search bars have magnifying glass symbols and the address one does not, as it would seem like all of them are search bars and are supposedly consistent.

(#3) This is a more spread-out and rigid version, where it would appear that all the info you need is on the screen all at once. This may not be the best for a map service, as map space is very valuable compared to button space. Take google maps for example - as soon as you type in the info, everything but the map disappears because phone screen space is precious. But I do like how all the info is there all the time for an app like this because you are entering in info over and over.
