The module is built using the deprecated View Engine

View Engine libraries will stop working in Angular 16, ngcc is removed in this commit: https://github.com/angular/angular/commit/48aa96ea13ebfadf2f6b13516c7702dae740a7be

I'm happy to do the necessary work to make this happen, but first I want to be sure the PR is going to be accepted and this is not a dead project.
