I don't feel I have enough context/experience w/ WP to usefully comment on the changes.

Is this suitable for the "2-part" format (#67, #73)? Do you think it would be significantly better or worse in that format?

We spent a bit of time discussing the candidate's time constraints. I do believe we could make it better by splitting the tinyurl challenge as the first part and create the wordpress plugin part as the second part.

I'm a bit concerned about the candidates who don't have time for the 2-part format and opt for the classic 4-hour on-site. Because the 2-part format lends itself to more flashy/complete solutions, the recruiters might get biased towards them.
