The UI-Texts are very small on Surface Pro 3 / Surface Pro 4

This is scary, but seems we do not have a quick solution for this! Even configs like dpiaware seems to be no longer supported by newest versions of Java. Will keep looking for a solution.

Someone mentioned that rendering works fine with Java 9 EA releases. I have not tried, but you can give a try:
