white-space: Prevents the code from going behind the sidebar. I suggest 
removing the border as well. Thanks!

This will affect a lot of existing pages so I'm loathe to muck with the base 
CSS too radically.  Perhaps you should try white-space: pre-wrap instead since 
<pre> are typically used for preformatted code.
