Have restore code lost serial #148

Latest winauth, computer bluescreened had to system restore, wrote down restore 
code but not serial. Is there any way to get serial? It is for an account i 
purchased so i can not get the authenticator removed

The serial cannot be calculated from anything. As far as I know, it's generated 
by Blizzard and just used as a lookup for your key on their servers. When 
restoring the serial is passed to Blizzard and they send back a key, which is 
verified with the restore code before they'll give the real authentictor key.

Do you not have any kind of backups? Or SMS Protect on?

Unfortunately all I can suggest is contacting their support and explain you 
lost the authenticator, but have the restore code and not serial, and see if 
they accept it.
