Running on Ubuntu everything is installed and tested as far as I can tell. Read all the comments and this seems to be a new issue, thoughts?

Error while uploading video

csrgxtu commented 1 year ago

could you provide the whole exception stack, and also the video for reproducing this problem?

LevaniVashadze commented 1 year ago

I have the same issue, i went in to debug and added a save screenshot in line 200, because after that it times out when it tries to get the iframe. This returned this screenshot test

I even added a 60 second wait before the screenshot but it still is in this loading state.

I am using chrome in headless mode on ubuntu 22.04

LevaniVashadze commented 1 year ago

@wkaisertexas @csrgxtu I would really appreciate your help in this issue(it worked fine on windows locally, but on my aws ubuntu server this error happened)

LevaniVashadze commented 1 year ago

Now it sometimes works and sometimes not after using @misterneo's PR the issue that happens is it goes to /creator center upload and then it redirects to https://www.tiktok.com/login?[object%20Object] this happens sometimes and I can't figure out exactly when it happens

I'm using this package inside a Docker container, probably built on top of some version of Ubuntu with Python and Nodejs preinstalled (nikolaik/python-nodejs), my main script also runs Chrome in headless mode and It works fine for me after the updates I made. @LevaniVashadze

I also found the issue, turns out some of the cookies I was using got invalidated after the account holder logged out, thanks for your PR btw, without it I couldn't get it to work at all.

I think this is my wake up call to learn docker.

I was having a difficult time thinking about how I can do CI on this package with localization issues being such a big deal.

Will look into this for next release
