I don't think I have permissions to push an update to the README.md file but here's what I wanted to add...

6. Donation/Fundraiser Tracking (added my metalandcoffee)

• Show widget on front page that displays latest donations and total donations thus far.
• Not sure if our method for accepting donations will make this information easily available though.

Unfortunately not. A couple years ago we asked Institutional Advancement (IA), which handles all Drexel student org donations, whether it was possible to do something like a donation thermometer for the EMM. They said it was not possible and it usually takes them a few days to process transactions so we wouldn't be able to do any live updates.

Merch store purchases we get a notification email for, but for donations last year we couldn't find out how much we raised in the EMM until 3-4 weeks after it had cleared through and finally made it into our SAFAC account.
