Enhancement: 

XMLMind has changed their licensing scheme, and there is no longer a personal 
free edition. As of version 5.4.0, it is now a time-limited (30 days) 
evaluation edition and the paid professional edition. For this reason, it may 
be time to evaluate alternative XML editors for this plugin. I don't know if 
there are any good open-source alternatives to XMLmind for XML editing.

I've found a pointer to the archive for XMLmind 5.3 that still includes the 
personal (free) edition. It is available here: 
http://www.xmlmind.com/archive/xmleditor/5.3.0/
