CMV doesn't support loading just a single raster from a map service, and the viewer times/errors out when users click the "Add to Map" button. That button only supports feature layers. This appears in the layer browser and search results.

Layer browser already correctly handles raster layers. The layers reported to us are tagged as type 'Image', confusing the tool.
