We need to provide an SEO meta description.

It seems that Google truncates meta descriptions above 160 characters long so should aim for that as a maximum.

I am not sure this is still in scope. @jakobw please investigate if this is already implemented, else close the issue as won't do. Thanks!

Yup, I see a meta description on the site, which looks like it's coming from here. Closing this.
