Summary and purpose

ECMWF, supporting UFZ (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research), is requesting to add a new entry in Common Code Table 11 for UFZ.

Action proposed

The team is invited to review and approve the proposal

Discussions

The Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), operated by ECMWF, is going to make available a new dataset, ULYSSES, produced by UFZ. In order to encode properly the data producer in the GRIB2 header, we are requesting a new entry in the Common Code Table 11.

The acronym UFZ stands for "Umweltforschungszentrum". Nice long German word!
