Code Table 4.240/Att.III - Error in function #120

Summary and purpose

  1. On page 228 (I.2 – GRIB CF4 – 64) in example (3) there is missing a factor of ½ in the exponent in the N-model concentration- density function. It is stated as

but should, as almost all of us immediately notice, instead be more like the exponent defined in this example. I.e. having a factor of ½ before the left bracket in the exponent.

  1. On the same page, example (4) have the same fault, a missing factor of ½ in the exponent.
  2. The same examples (2) and (3) are erroneous on page 254 (I.2 – Att.III/GRIB _1) also.

Code Table 4.240 was first introduced as non-operational in v14 on 5 Nov 2014 and operational in v15.1.0 on 7 May 2105.
