CNR1:Development of a DAB accessor for an HRC web service publishing time series of forecasted streamflow generated by PROHMSAT model at specific points #1
As HRC web service is not available because of traffic overload concern disrupting operation activity, a push solution using a 3d party service is being setup (by Argentina?). CNR can provide suggestions for implementing this additional service. For example, a simple FTP service could work, but will be less optimized and might result in perceived slowness with respect to a more complex service for accessing and visualizing the data (e.g. WMS, WFS services). The slowness is because all the data would have to be moved again to the broker before processing (e.g. to produce the WMS layer).
Finally, from the broker point of view, an endpoint is needed for starting the interoperability tests.
After the recent meeting, it was confirmed that an API publishing forecast data will be available from INA. Endpoint and credentials are needed to proceed with tests. @jbianchi81
