Clarify if Global Service can help users extract data from big file #11

TT-NWPMD would like to have clarification from the WIS2 architecture team (ET-W2AT) whether it will be possible that the Global Service provides APIs or web services to extract data from a big file. The idea is users will only need to download those data that they are interested in (e.g. specific variable(s) or spatial sub-domain(s)).

No interactive API available. GC only takes the files and dumps the data for the user to download. Emphasizes that API service (added value service) will not be provided by Global Services. It is the Members or external parties to provide additional added value services.
