Showing how to manipulate information given by xprop to resize windows. Sadly does depend on the program sending this information to the environment, other programs ahem vlc don't do this.

Haha, no.

I have no doubt this script is useful and all, but it definitely has nothing to do here. It only work for a specific program, relies heavily on external programs and barely use any wmutils.

Thanks for the request but our goal is not to merge as much scripts as possible, but demonstrate what wmutils can do on their own.
