The current version of the EOGenerator is possible to generate two files for the EOF-Persistency-Layer out of some EOModels.
This changes extends the generator with the possibility to generate three additional files with the following behaviour:
The generated files will also be based on Templates in the 'Templates-Folder' with the possibility to select a specific target-Source-Folder for each Template
The name of each Java-File will be based on the generated class-name according to the Template.
e.g. If you generate a file with the content "(...) public class SomeEntityDAO (...)" then the fill will be named "SomeEntityDAO.java"
The generated Java-Files will always be overwritten. (Same behaviour as with the EOF-Underline-Entities)
Nothing in the current behaviour of the EOGenerator is changed! This just adds further generation-possibilities.
Some example usages for the additional files:
Generate specific Entity-DAO-Classes to separate the Entities from the FetchSpecifications
Or some other generated Entitiy-specific support-classes
Or (as in my case): Generate multiple JPA-Persistency-Layer-Classes out of the EOModel:
One file containing the JPAMetamodel for an entity
