i suspect it isn't used much ... might be easier to kill off than to maintain.
Although the compiler-errors are fixed, this still has no effect on "wolips", because this plugin is not bundled into any installable feature. Maybe this is an experiment which was done 10 years ago.
With "a lot of work" I meant that first someone would have to dig into history to investigate what this plugin should do and afterwards try it to integrate it into the current version of eclipse.
I don't use workspace mechanic so I am happy for it to be killed off. That it has had compile errors for so long suggests no-one else is using it.
wolips.mechanic was based on a version of workspacemechanic prior to April 2014. Eclipse RCP 4.11 (2019-03) now includes a later version of workspacemechanic so there were compile errors in wolips.mechanic. I have fixed these compile errors in this pull request. I am not sure what the functionality was so haven't tested that. I am linking to issue #128 because @Wolfy42 said this would be a lot of work. (It did take me a while but the number of changes was quite small).
