Situation right now: ChatGPT stops generating text/images/whatever when the app isn't in the foreground (also happens with browser tabs on desktop)

Desired situation: spoof focus (?) so that ChatGPT continues generating even when the user switches to another app.

no idea if that is possible. What if you open it as pop-up window?

Hello,

I'm not OP, but would also like a way to have it run in the background, or at least not take up whole the foreground 😁. How do I get gptAssist to enter PiP mode? I know my device can do it because it works for AVNC and NewPipe. I don't see gptAssist listed with other apps under my Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Special app access -> Picture-in-picture. Does gptAssist declare PiP support?

just go to recent apps (button at bottom of your screen), long lick on the icon and select pop-up view

I don't seem to have that, I'm guessing possibly due to my home launcher app (KISS Launcher)?
