Login not working at all #32

I'm in trouble with this issue for a pretty long time and wanted to open an issue only, after I systematically excluded my device or setup or whatever on my part being at fault. I did that now, so here is the issue.

I've read all issues regarding the problem of not being able to log in, like https://github.com/woheller69/gptAssist/issues/20 and followed the advice. Nothing helped.

Point is, I can log in any time I want, with any browser I want, with any add ons and blockers enabled I want, into the service. However, whenever I open this app right away afterward, login never works. It just is "stuck". I press the Log in button. Nothing happens. Not even the slightest loading or whatever.

After the first few attempts of trying to log in, I always disabled the link blocker in the upper right corner of the app. Did not change anything about the behaviour, at all.

Therefore, this is an inherent issue with the app. Not with my setup or my phone or anything else on my part.

I can log into the service in any way I want, when I use a generic browser. Cannot do it with the app, even when link blocking is disabled.

For everyone else it seems to work... Which version are you using. Is it installed from F-Droid?

F-Droid 1.40

Which is the highest version seen here in the repository.

What's the minimum version required?

Don't know. That depends on OpenAI

But for security it should always be up-to-date. PlayStore does this, even without account.

FYI, couldn't update yet, because the standard method doesn't work on my phone. I will update this, when I will have the time to update the app.
