EVE HUD crashes tf2 since 11/22/13 tf2 update

Can you describe the problem?
Ever since the 11/22/13 TF2 update keeping EVE hud in my /custom/ folder will 
make my game crash to desktop after the first loading screen.

Does the issue persist in an unmodified game (when applicable) #you must
answer this

What's your screen resolution?
1920x1050, I play in 1440x900 windowed noborder

I have the exact same issue and this is my first time trying this hud. I was 
using an other hud before t his update and i decided to change because i 
couldn't see the ping anymore in the scoreboard in my previous custom hud 
(Gmang hud)

This is because the new killstreak icon on the scoreboard, becaue it isnt made 
yet it will not work
