As per request by @adamkirkton

Is there a way to pass parameters to rake tasks? Either via environment variables or task parameters using the [] syntax following the task name? Thanks!

To do this I will investigate using build parameters within bamboo, this will enable configuration of default values which can also be overridden when a job is run.

Fixed in 1.11 release I am pushing out now.
