Hi,

would it be possible to check for the existence of the endpoint provided by this plugin and use it, if it's not available, do a fallback on the publicly stored project for custom field information?

Thank you for this suggestion. Since custom fields cannot be queried via the current Redmine API, your plugin fills a leak in ITOL development. I will come back to this topic, when I find some time to continue working on this Outlook Add-in for Redmine.
